Caprice (about a puppet’s theater), op. 88

(piano, flute, horn and harp) 

This is a work that I dedicate to my daughter Inês and I made it inspired by the memory of her expression completely enraptured while she was still a child – and in some public garden I can’t recall – staring at a puppet’s theater. And in what passionate way she was following those scenes, transforming before her eyes and hears, in the middle of that typical street shows ambience!...It is one of the three pieces I wrote for this such unusual group – piano, flute, trumpet and harp - and,yet, the other two enclose a soprano voice…
