The “Berceuse” (lullaby), for violin and piano, presented in this edition, was written in 1922, when he was only nineteen years old. It was his first piece for Chamber Music Genre, to which he would contribute in a total of  twenty two pieces, in several groupings. Among these we should give special reference to the Sonata for violin and cello (the first example of polytonality in the Iberian Peninsula), several pieces for violin and piano and for cello and piano, three string quartets (of these, only one is complete), and a wind quintet.
