Escrevi esta curta peça para o Aldo Salvetti. É um curto divertimento em cinco andamentos, de carácter simples e popular, com alguns laivos de grotesco, nomeadamente na paródia ao minueto clássico que forma o quarto andamento. O último andamento, um scherzino fantástico, é, porém, de escrita mais arrojada e distingue-se imediatamente dos restantes.

I wrote this short piece for Aldo Salvetti. It is a brief divertimento in five movements, of a simple and popular character. There are a few streaks of the grotesque: namely, in the parody of a classical minuet that makes up the fourth movement. However, the final movement, a little scherzo full of fantasy, contains bold writing that immediately distinguishes it from the others.
